A grade II listed Georgian house, formerly known as Park End House, set in beautiful grounds on the outskirts of Workington, was built as a residence for the steward in service of the Curwen family, Lords of the Manor of Workington.

Park End House was purchased by Miss Helena Thompson in 1934 and gifted to the people of the town of Workington for the purposes of a Museum, and today provides a delightfully magical setting for the day of your dreams.

Our aim at the Helena Thompson Museum is to ensure that together we are able to perfectly create your personally unique day of romantic history.
